Work with Liberation Ecosystem

LEI is seeking to expand our programming capacity by bringing on a part-time manager as an Ecosystem Weaver

In this role, the Ecosystem Weaver will bolster the organization’s ability to connect BIPOC Vermonters with resources, leadership opportunities, and one another. This role also includes financial, administrative, and communication responsibilities, all of which will be executed under the guidance of existing LEI staff.

While a part time position (15 hrs/week), the Ecosystem Weaver is fully integrated into all organizational meetings, retreats, and strategic planning work. Given that evening and weekend work is a required aspect of this position, there is flexibility in working hours during the work week.

LEI will be accepting applications for this position until January 5, 2026.

Liberation Ecosystem is also seeking proposals for a contracted Grant Writer

In addition to completing grant applications for pre-identified opportunities, the consultant will dedicate some hours to prospecting and elevating aligned funding opportunities to staff for consideration.

The work of the consultant largely involves developing narratives in response to the application prompts, liaising with staff to gather requisite financial documents, and ensure application alignment with programming and operational needs - both current and future. The identified grants will vary between foundation, state, federal, and business grant opportunities. Applicants can expect to be engaged in grant writing work for a minimum of 5 hours and maximum of 20 hours a month.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a priority submission date of December 10, 2025.
